Our founder Johnnie Johnson was a celebrated Royal Air Force pilot and wartime ‘flying ace’ and supporting the armed forces is still important to us at JJH. In 2018 we signed the Greater Manchester Armed Forces Covenant, which sets out this commitment. We recognise the value ex-military both regular and reservists, veterans and military families can contribute to Johnnie Johnson. We are working in partnership with CTP (Career Transition Partnership) – an organisation that provides resettlement services to those leaving the services, and we advertise all suitable vacancies on their website. We have made a pledge that if ex-service personnel meet the essential criteria we will guarantee them an interview. We also support JJH colleagues who choose to be members of the reserve and cadet forces, including accommodating their training and deployment where possible.
